Excel formulas how to find the highest value in Microsoft Excel 2010

Excel Formula Finding Value or High Scores - Have you ever manage a value or number, especially for teachers in treating or managing student grades in school would want to know how much value or obtained the highest number of students? This time I will discuss about the excel formula to find the highest value using the formula = MAX (range). For more details please see the description of a table of values in the picture below

Note the picture shown by the arrows in blue! in cell G3 will look for how the value of the data of students who have the highest value? to determine the highest value among the data above, write the formula in cell G3 with the formula = MAX (C3: C22)

If pressed enter then the result is 86. Please check the data of the greatest value, or the highest is the number 86.
In order to more clearly the highest value in the data value of students can be marked with red color for example, then you can use the Conditional Formatting in a way that the value of the data block

The next step please click Conditional Formatting and then select Highlight Cell Rules then select Equal to ..

 

Please see the result, the value or number 86 which is the value or the highest number will be marked in red.
